Fronted by 17 year-old, lead vocalist and guitarist, Bec Hollcraft, Boxing Shadows has spent the last year playing to rave reviews in LA’s legendary venues.
At the age of 15, Bec Hollcraft caught the attention of local radio programmers in her native city of Portland, OR., after recording her first demo with fellow Portlander and lead guitarist, Rob Daiker, who had already built a solid fan base with his former band, Velabonz. Soon after being discovered by multi-platinum artist/producer, Meredith Brooks, the two traveled south, along with keyboardist Dave Basaraba, and began writing and recording in Los Angeles. After adding Brian Hendrix on bass and Steve Rooney on drums, Boxing Shadows now had the perfect foundation and began touring and performing around town.
Now, Boxing Shadows' debut album nearing completion, produced by Brooks and mixed by Mark Needham (Killers, Fleetwood Mac). It has become clear that Boxing Shadows is a force that will leave its mark.
